On October 30, 2015, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) sponsored the fourth Safe Transportation Achievement Recognition (“STAR”) Awards program, to formally recognize California motor carriers in the truck and bus industry for their efforts in making safety the number one priority in their day-to-day operations. There were only a total of five awards presented to the safest companies in the state. Apex Bulk Commodities, LLC was presented with a STAR award for Truck, more than 20 power units by the Commissioner Joseph A Farrow, of the California CHP.
